Winter Sparkle

This piece was started and finished while painting on sight this winter.  Do you remember how the kid in the movie "The Christmas Story" looked after his mother dressed him to play outside?  Lol, that's me.  Especially after I purchased a pair of fancy mountain boots for a trip to paint the white mountains in New Hampshire.  My feet are happy and warm in these huge platform boots.  All this extra care is worth the time out painting these gorgeous colors.  You have to learn to enjoy all our greens as an artist in Wisconsin.  But, then winter comes in all it's glory of blues, violets and pinks to name a few.  Each season has so much to teach me.
