Small to Large
Next on the easel.
This little pastel was really painted for just me. I envisioned a larger 24" x 36" linen and it was stretched and waiting. Working large is a big committment. The risk is larger. The cost of everything is larger. The problems are larger. But, it's fun to shake things up. Jump in with both feet and enjoy the journey.

So, I worked very small with the pastel to work out the color and big shapes without the detail to distract me. I didn't realize how much I missed drawing. The sticks are delicious colors spread out before me. Could this be crack to an artist? Before I knew it I did three more and had three large canvases waiting their turn. What medium can I try next? Everything I hope.
